Questions about Prep Centre
Is Prep Centre really free for life?
Yes. Prep Centre is free for life. There is no Prep Centre subscription charge. You do not need a payment card or a paid Dealer VHC subscription to use it.
Do I need to pay for Dealer VHC or Photo Studio?
No. Prep Centre is available on its own through your business account. Dealer VHC subscriptions and Photo Studio editing are separate paid products; using Prep Centre does not require buying either.
Can dealerships and garages both use Prep Centre?
Yes. Dealership and garage teams can use Prep Centre for their own business. Each team’s preparation records remain separate from other businesses, including dealerships that have invited your garage to complete VHCs.
Can I plan preparation before a car is sold?
Yes. Add any car that needs preparation. You can leave the handover date blank until you have one, then add it later to use the countdown and handover schedule.
Does Prep Centre include a calendar and countdown?
Yes. The calendar shows jobs with due dates and scheduled handovers, and each active car with a handover date has a countdown. The overview shows the nearest handovers first and helps you find waiting or overdue work.
Does completing a prep job automatically update a VHC?
No. Prep Centre plans your jobs separately from the inspection record. If a repair relates to a VHC finding, update that VHC too. Vehicle health reports and pre-delivery inspection (PDI) sheets are part of Dealer VHC.
How do I get started?
Use your existing account and choose Prep Centre, or create a business account. Creating a business account also includes a separate 30-day Dealer VHC trial. Prep Centre remains free for life when that trial ends.
